ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To ensure the integrity of instrument equipment, project support and plant support.
FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS
- Maintenance in chemical process plant
- Project implementation
- Development and implementation of maintenance strategies
- Management of change - MOC
- Administration of DCS and in-tools database
- Root cause analysis and investigation skills
- Adherence to OHSAct and SASOL requirements and standards
- Contribute to continuous improvements of plant
- Cost / risk evaluation of maintenance decisions
- Project management, commissioning and evaluation
- Business Case development and verification
- Risk based inspection decisions.
- Improvement of equipment MTBF
- Integrity and reliability of equipment under direct control.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- National Diploma : Electrical Engineering light current or Processes instrumentation and control systems.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years relevant technical experience.
