Responsibilities:
- Admin of back end stock control and food cost monitoring
- Manage Front and Back of Restaurant
- Lead all staff in a positive manner with good communication and motivation
- Scheduling of shifts for all staff members
- Complete staff Training, Disciplining, Development and management function
- Managing cash flows and cash up's
- Perform food safety and health checks
- Ordering of stock and stock take
- Manage and monitor portion size and food cost
- Run and manage marketing campaigns
- Ensure customer service excellence
- Manage retail section
- Present quarterly P & L statements to management
- Stay on trend in a fast paced industry
- Execute marketing campaigns at store level
- Accomplish new goals and make the brand better than it was the day before
Required Skills
- Micros / GAAP : 3 to 4 years
- Assistant Restaurant General manager : 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Assistant Restaurant management position
- Grade 12
- 3 years’ FOH & BOH experience
- 3 years Micros /GAAP experience
- Strong Excel skills
- 3 years‘ managing marketing campaigns experience
- Customer focused
- Ability to plan and execute projects
- Results orientated
- Passionate about training and development within the Food Industry
- Ability to manage all financial aspects of the restaurant
- Accurately report on business environment
- Team player and prepared to get your hands dirty
- Willing to work shifts
- Great communication and problem solving skills
- Trustworthy and honest
