REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 certificate. A Degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain
Management or relevant qualification will be an added advantage. One (1) to
two (2) years’ experience in Supply Chain Management / Acquisition will be an
added advantage. Knowledge of procurement administrative procedures.
Knowledge of financial legislation. Knowledge of BAS. Knowledge of GAAP.
Displinary knowledge of labour law. Knowledge of dispute resolution process.
Knowledge of labour relations policies. Understanding of social and Economic
development issues. Basic Financial Management and knowledge of PFMA.
Knowledge Management. Problem solving and Analysis. People and Diversity
Management. Client Orientation and Customer Focus. Communication skills
(written and verbal). Accountability and Ethical Conduct.
DUTIES : Sourcing of quotations from suppliers. Receiving of quotations, verification of
supplier information on CSD, Conduct VAT Vendor search on suppliers.
Drafting the final memorandum for awarding of quotations. Communicate with
clients on the status of their requests. Drafting progress reports on the
requests allocated.
